Below is the scope of responsibilities for our urgent care physicians:

• Provide diagnostic, therapeutic and preventive care services to patients.
• Take medical histories, examine and treat patients, order and interpret laboratory tests and x-rays, and make diagnoses.
• Treat minor injuries, suturing, performing minor surgical procedures and casting.
• Documentation of all medical history, physical findings, lab or x-ray results, diagnosis, prescribed medications and discharge planning in EMR charting system.
• Consult with other medical providers as appropriate and document discussions and recommendations in EMR charting system.
• No on-call duties or responsibilities
• Outside duties at health fairs or special events at the discretion of the Facility Manager.

Compensation for a physician is generous, but depends upon experience and certifications. Additional information will be provided after receipt of the completed application form.

Please note that the indicated salary will be tax-free from a Cayman law perspective. The employee will, of course, be responsible for filing and paying all taxes due and payable in their home country.

Reporting directly to clinical manager with responsibility for providing professional nursing care to patients following established standards and practices. Our registered nurses also provide assistance to physicians and staff in coordinating patient care, and function as primary liaison between patients, staff and physicians.

• provide general nursing care to patients in accordance with nursing standards
• assess and triage patients and give appropriate and timely care based on patient's acuity
• respond in emergency situations and appropriately render care based on patient's acuity level
• administer prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with nursing standards and physicians' instructions
• document all treatments in patients' charts
• observe, record and report patient’s condition and reaction to drugs and treatment to physician
• respond to patient phone consultations and refer where appropriate. Document all phone consultation notes in patient’s chart.
• educate patient and family about diagnostic procedures, medications, nutritional maintenance of health and wellness
• document all necessary procedures and supplies used in the encounter ticket for billing/coding purposes
• act as advocate for patients and their families
• act as coordinator of health care team to maintain proper linkages to provide care on a continuing basis

• Expose and process medical radiographs whilst adhering to safety procedures
• Assist medical staff in preparation of applicants, diagnostic testing and procedures and injury management
• Be responsible for maintenance of rooms, supplies, and equipment for patient care
• Ability to perform positioning and timing techniques in obtaining radiographs
• Working knowledge and training in operation of radiology equipment and solutions
• Working and current knowledge of radiation safety requirements and industry best-practices
• Ability to assess technical quality of radiographs
• Room patients, obtain vital signs, obtain patient history and prepare for exam in accordance with Doctors Express policies and procedures
• Must be able to recognize and respond to emergent situation per protocol
• Administer medications as prescribed by physician or other qualified provider (ie: intramuscular injections, subcutaneous injection, and oral medications)
• Document work processes as required
• Maintain work area, exam rooms, supplies, medications, and immunizations
• Maintain and establish effective working relationships with physicians, staff, and management
• Communicate effectively, courteously, professionally, and efficiently in all encounters
• Ability to maintain records, statistics, supply levels, logbooks, and files
• Maintain confidentiality of applicant and client information in accordance with policies
• Maintain film badge and adequate protection for self and client during exposure procedures
• Must be able to operate usual office equipment (copier, fax machine, phone systems)

• Must have an active radiologic license and be in good standing with the registering body in the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Jamaica, South Africa, Australia or New Zealand
• 2+ years of experience preferred
• CPR certification preferred

• Prepares medications by reviewing and interpreting physician orders; detecting therapeutic incompatibilities.
• Dispenses medications by compounding, packaging, and labeling pharmaceuticals.
• Controls medications by monitoring drug therapies; advising interventions.
• Document work processes as required
• Maintain work area, supplies, medications, and immunizations
• Maintain and establish effective working relationships with physicians, staff, and management
• Communicate effectively, courteously, professionally, and efficiently in all encounters
• Ability to maintain records, statistics, supply levels, logbooks, and files
